- Die Arbeit Treptow, 2002 ist die älteste Arbeit in der Präsentation. Sie ist der Stellvertreter für den Beginn meiner fotografischen Tätigkeit. Die Auseinandersetzung mit Erlebnisparks steht in Zusammenhang mit dem Szenografie-Studium an der HfG.
Der Gegensatz zwischen Natur und Künstlichkeit wird hierbei besonders deutlich. Das seiner ursprünglichen Bedeutung enthobene Fahrgeschäft mutiert zur funktionslosen Skulptur die sich quer durch das Bild zieht. Seiner ursprünglichen Bedeutung enthoben, erobert sich die Natur den von Menschen konstruierten Platz zurück. Die Lichtstimmung in diesem Bild oszilliert zwischen Melancholie und Absurdität.

- The work Treptow, 2002 is the oldest work in the presentation. It represents the beginning of my photographic work. The exploration of adventure parks is connected to my scenography studies at the HfG.
The contrast between nature and artificiality becomes particularly clear here. The ride, stripped of its original meaning, mutates into a functionless sculpture that runs right through the picture. Stripped of its original meaning, nature reclaims the space constructed by man. The lighting mood in this picture oscillates between melancholy and absurdity.

- Neustadt, 2005 ist im Schwarzwald entstanden. Es handelt sich hierbei um den Ausschnitt eines Bildes um den Ausdruck des Abgebildeten durch die Auflösung in Formen und Flächen zu steigern. Die Zäune und Grasflächen unter der leichten Schneedecke bilden eigenen Strukturen und Bildaufteilungen. Runde, ovale und rechteckige Formen lösen sich dabei in einem Wechselspiel auf. Durch die große Form im Vordergrund wird das Bild geteilt und lässt dabei mehrere Ebenen entstehen. Der Eindruck einer modellierten Landschaft kommt hierbei besonders zum Tragen. Fast miniaturartig setzen sich die Einzelnen Flächen wie Bausteine aneinander.

- Neustadt, 2005 was created in the Black Forest. It is a detail of a picture in order to enhance the expression of what is depicted by breaking it down into forms and surfaces. The fences and grassy areas under the light blanket of snow form their own structures and pictorial divisions. Round, oval and rectangular shapes dissolve in an interplay. The large form in the foreground divides the picture and creates several levels. The impression of a modeled landscape is particularly effective here. Almost miniature-like, the individual surfaces fit together like building blocks.

- Rennsteig I, 2005 lässt den Betrachter über seinen Standpunkt im Unklaren. Der starke Gegensatz zwischen Vordergrund und Hintergrund schafft Verwirrung und Orientierungslosigkeit. Das (Vexier-) Bild setzt sich erst bei längerer Betrachtung zusammen und lässt dabei die einzelnen Elemente langsam erkennen. Der schneebedeckte Vordergrund und der grünen Landschaft im Hintergrund steigern die Absurdität des Abgebildeten. Die Eingriffe des Menschen in die Natur lassen sich erahnen und damit einhergehend die Erkenntnis, dass er dabei nicht um die Schönheit derselben geht, sondern um die reine Funktionalität.

- Rennsteig I, 2005 leaves the viewer in the dark as to his position. The stark contrast between foreground and background creates confusion and disorientation. The (puzzle) picture only comes together when viewed over a longer period of time, slowly revealing the individual elements. The snow-covered foreground and the green landscape in the background heighten the absurdity of what is depicted. Man's intervention in nature can be sensed and with it the realization that he is not interested in its beauty, but in pure functionality.

- Plastic Fugue, eine interaktive Klanginstallation, bestehend aus sechs Flöten (air 5-10, air Pp 1), die jeweils nur einen Ton erzeugen und über codierte Dirigierknöpfe ferngesteuert aktiviert werden. Die Reihenfolge der Töne ist jedes Mal zufällig. Die Fuge wird auf ihre Struktur reduziert und in ein Spiel mit Sequenz und Zeit überführt. Anstelle der idealisierten Ordnung stelle ich mir eine offenere Art der Klangmontage vor, eine Art demokratischer Kontrapunkt.

Die oben genannten Arbeiten sind das Ergebnis eines Instrumentenbaus durch DIY-Praxis und Open-Source-Dateien aus dem Internet, indem die Illusion der klassistischen Form geschmolzen, vermischt und in biologisch abbaubare Polymere gegossen wurde, nicht nur mit der Hand, sondern auch mit dem 3D-Drucker. Eine besondere Qualifikation ist für die Herstellung nicht nötig. Die Bauanleitungen für diese DIY-Instrumente werden während der Ausstellung und auf der Website zur Verfügung gestellt.
- Pp 1-8, air 1-4 und dust 1-2, frühe Instrumente und Polymer-Gemälde, bei denen ich keinen überzeugenden Grund fand, weiterhin traditionelle Materialien zu verwenden. Also entschied ich mich, sie stattdessen mit PCL und PLA zu schaffen.

The above instruments and paintings are the result of instrument-making through DIY-ness and open-source files from the internet by melting, merging, and mixing the illusion of classism's shape into biodegradable polymers, not only with a hand, but also with a 3D printer. However, any sacred qualification to make is not needed. DIY instructions for these DIY instruments are distributed at the exhibition and website.
