Here, the idyll of the village meets the world of ideas of media artist Jan Cordes, who provides an insight into his works. He uses light and multimedia installations to transform the otherwise hidden space of an old barn into a new world of experience.
Die Scheune VII ist ein mediales Happening im privaten Ambiente eines Weingartener Hinterhofes. Das Idyll des Dorfes trifft hier auf die Gedankenwelt des Medienkünstlers Jan Cordes, der hier Einblick in seine Werke gewährt. Er gestaltet den sonst verborgenen Raum einer alten Scheune durch Licht und Multimediale Installationen zu einer neuen Erfahrungswelt um.
Die Besucher*innen können diese Welt eigenständig entdecken. Begleitet werden sie dabei von den Klängen des Komponisten Jan Pfitzer. Er bemalt die Räume durch gezielte musikalische Interventionen in den Farben einer neuen Virtualität.
Am 26. Juni betreten die Pianistin Arabella Pare und die Sopranistin Marijke Janssens eine Bühne über den Köpfen der Gäste.

Scheune VII is a media happening in the private ambience of a Weingarten backyard. Here, the idyll of the village meets the world of ideas of media artist Jan Cordes, who provides an insight into his works. He uses light and multimedia installations to transform the otherwise hidden space of an old barn into a new world of experience.
Visitors can discover this world on their own. They are accompanied by the sounds of the composer Jan Pfitzer. He paints the rooms in the colors of a new virtuality through targeted musical interventions.
On June 26, pianist Arabella Pare and soprano Marijke Janssens will take to the stage above the guests' heads.
