Extensive Description	Das Projekt ‚Stadt als Sammlung’ setzt sich mit den Herausforderungen und Potenzialen des analogen und digitalen Archivierens und Sammelns auseinander. Anhand der Systematik des Zettelkastens wird die Sammlung erprobt und das Prozesshafte des Sammelns dargestellt. Der Inhalt der Sammlung befasst sich sowohl mit der Stadt als auch mit dem Sammeln und Archivieren selbst und wird dadurch permanent, assoziativ erweitert. Stadt und Sammlung stehen in Analogie zueinander und eröffnen ein unendliches Experimentierfeld. Drei Boxen mit jeweils 100 Zetteln aus der Sammlung wurden an drei Künstler gegeben, mit der Handlungsanweisung, damit zu arbeiten. Die dadurch entstandenen künstlerischen Positionen werden zusammen mit Teilen der Sammlung in der Ausstellung gezeigt. Der Inhalt einer Sammlung ist nur wertvoll in der Art und Weise seines Gebrauchs. Ausstellungen sind Momente des Zirkulationsprozesses. Die Sammlung, die ansonsten verschlossen ist, wird sichtbar gemacht, wodurch sie erst in Wirkung tritt. Die Ausstellung eröffnet einen Dialog über die Stadt, das Sammeln und Archivieren.
Extensive Description (en)	The project 'Stadt als Sammlung' deals with the challenges and potentials of analog and digital archiving and collecting. Using the system of the card index, the collection is tested and the process of collecting is presented. The content of the collection deals with the city as well as with collecting and archiving itself and is thus permanently and associatively expanded. The city and the collection are analogous to each other and open up an infinite field of experimentation. Three boxes, each containing 100 pieces of paper from the collection, were given to three artists with instructions to work with them. The resulting artistic positions are shown in the exhibition together with parts of the collection. The content of a collection is only valuable in the way it is used. Exhibitions are moments in the circulation process. The collection, which is otherwise closed, is made visible, which is how it first comes into effect. The exhibition opens up a dialog about the city, collecting and archiving.
