These thoughts are the beginning of the game Vakna, a world of thoughts that deals with the perception and acceptance of the human body without clothes, thereby questioning social influences.
In this world of thoughts it is possible for the player to find out more about himself, his own perception, his own behavior, his own morality and his own ritual thoughts concerning the human body through discoverable questions and statements.
Vakna awakens together with the player. The player begins to question the own perception, the own behavior, the own morality and the own ritual thought processes concerning the human body and perhaps to rearrange or change them for themselves and for other people.
At the end of this game, each person has to decide for himself whether the body's reawakening and the „re-experiencing“ of the world would be tried out or lived.
Also, the questions to be answered are how to deal with the newly gained acceptance and rediscovery. But in this decision, the player does not have to answer to the game, but to himself and the fellow human beings of society.

- Die unterschiedlichen filmische Sequenzen waren als Projektionen im Raum (großes Studio) auf Wänden zu sehen. Sie erzählen von Überlebensstrategien auf engem Raum, von der Subkultur im Gefängnis:
Sucuk aus dem Wasserkocher, Gebetsketten aus Brot,
Apfelbäume aus Joghurtbechern und Duschgel als Raumduft.
Die Sequenzen sind Erzählungen aus dem Interview mit Badaue (Pseudonym). Die zu sehenden Handlungen hat er, während der Zeit der Untersuchungshaft, zum Teil selbst entwickelt, zum Teil von anderen Inhaftierten erfahren.

Sucuk from a kettle, prayer chains made of bread,
apple trees from yogurt pots, and shower gel as a room scent.
The sequences are narrations from the interview with Badaue (pseudonym). He developed the actions to be seen, during the time of pre-trial detention, partly himself, partly experienced from other detainees.

In einer Bar, in der Innenstadt von Karlsruhe, trifft das Publikum auf ein tourendes Trio mit einer sonderbaren Geschichte: Es war einmal ein Nachtfalter, der lebte im Dschungel des brasilianischen Amazonas. Dieser Falter trug den Namen Gorgone macarea und hatte eine Angewohnheit, die für ein Lebewesen auf der Erde recht eigensinnig erschien. Gorgone macarea trank die Tränen schlafender Vögel. Für ihn: eine sichere Nahrungsquelle in unsicheren Zeiten. Denn der Amazonas Regenwald galt auch damals schon als ein sogenanntes Kippelement, der das Klima auf der Welt aus dem Gleichgewicht bringen konnte. Da also Gorgone macareas Lebensraum sich immer mehr veränderte und auch die Vögel nach und nach wegzogen, machte der Falter sich auf, um andere Tränen zu suchen. Dabei kam ihm zu Ohren, dass der Mensch ganz besondere Tränen vergießt, wie kein anderes Lebewesen auf der Erde: Emotionale Tränen.
Und so entschloss sich der Nachtfalter, die Menschen einzuladen, um ihre Tränen mit ihm zu teilen.
Seither touren der Nachtfalter und seine zwei Kompliz*innen Sadgirl und Fluss von Bar zu Bar und lassen für einen Abend das Publikum Teil ihres Universums werden. Ein Universum – in dem Tränen die Hauptzutat des Abends sind und in jedem Cocktail serviert werden.
Sekret ist eine Performance über und mit den Tränen unserer Zeit. Durch die Erzählungen der drei Protagonist*innen taucht das Publikum in die Welt von Emotion, Affekt und Fiktion ein. Dabei wird das Phänomen des emotionalen Weinens durch gesellschaftspolitische, popkulturelle oder lyrische Themen in den Fokus genommen.
Durch die Figuren Nachtfalter, Sadgirl und Fluss werden Konzepte und Phänomene wie die Inszenierung von Tränen, Schmerz, Tränen als Tabu, Tränen als Klischee, Weiße Tränen oder Tränen als Körperflüssigkeit näher betrachtet. Wir fragen: Wer vergießt Tränen wie und wo? Wann werden sie geweint? Wofür stehen sie? Und welche Absichten stecken hinter den 70-100 Litern Tränen, die ein Mensch im Leben vergießt?

This mothwas called Gorgone macarea and had a habit that seemed rather unusual for a creature onEarth. Gorgone macarea drank the tears of sleeping birds. For the moth, it was a reliablesource of nourishment in uncertain times. After all, even back then, the Amazon rainforestwas considered a so-called tipping element, capable of disrupting the global climatebalance. As Gorgone macarea’s habitat changed more and more, and the birds graduallydisappeared, the moth set out in search of other tears. Along the way, it heard that humansshed a kind of tear unlike any other creature on Earth: emotional tears. And so, the mothdecided to invite humans to share their tears with it.Since then, the moth and its two companions, Sadgirl and Fluss, have been touring from barto bar, drawing the audience into their universe for one night. A universe where tears are themain ingredient of the evening—served in every cocktail."Sekret" is a performance about and with the tears of our time. Through the stories of thethree protagonists, the audience is immersed in a world of emotion, affect, and ction. Thephenomenon of emotional crying is explored through socio-political, pop-cultural, and poeticthemes. Through the characters of the Moth, Sadgirl, and Fluss, the performance examinesconcepts and phenomena such as the staging of tears, pain, tears as taboo, tears as cliché,white tears, and tears as bodily uid. We ask: Who sheds tears, how, and where? When arethey cried? What do they stand for? And what intentions lie behind the 70-100 liters of tearsthat a human sheds in a lifetime?

Wiebke Mueller (she/her) works as a freelance scenographer, costume designer, and artist. She studied at the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design, the Bauhaus University Weimar, and as a guest at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. She has worked and presented her projects at venues such as TJG Dresden, Residenz Leipzig, Staatsschauspiel Dresden, GfzK Leipzig, 4BidGallery Amsterdam, and Staatstheater Karlsruhe. She is a co-founder of the spatial collective "Kollektiv Kubik" and has been collaborating with it regularly since 2017."Sekret – Eine Tränen-Bar Performance" is Wiebke Mueller's final project at HfG Karlsruhe in 2024.

In einer Bar, in der Innenstadt von Karlsruhe, trifft das Publikum auf ein tourendes Trio mit einer sonderbaren Geschichte: Es war einmal ein Nachtfalter, der lebte im Dschungel des brasilianischen Amazonas. Dieser Falter trug den Namen Gorgone macarea und hatte eine Angewohnheit, die für ein Lebewesen auf der Erde recht eigensinnig erschien. Gorgone macarea trank die Tränen schlafender Vögel. Für ihn: eine sichere Nahrungsquelle in unsicheren Zeiten. Denn der Amazonas Regenwald galt auch damals schon als ein sogenanntes Kippelement, der das Klima auf der Welt aus dem Gleichgewicht bringen konnte. Da also Gorgone macareas Lebensraum sich immer mehr veränderte und auch die Vögel nach und nach wegzogen, machte der Falter sich auf, um andere Tränen zu suchen. Dabei kam ihm zu Ohren, dass der Mensch ganz besondere Tränen vergießt, wie kein anderes Lebewesen auf der Erde: Emotionale Tränen.
Und so entschloss sich der Nachtfalter, die Menschen einzuladen, um ihre Tränen mit ihm zu teilen.
Seither touren der Nachtfalter und seine zwei Kompliz*innen Sadgirl und Fluss von Bar zu Bar und lassen für einen Abend das Publikum Teil ihres Universums werden. Ein Universum – in dem Tränen die Hauptzutat des Abends sind und in jedem Cocktail serviert werden.
Sekret ist eine Performance über und mit den Tränen unserer Zeit. Durch die Erzählungen der drei Protagonist*innen taucht das Publikum in die Welt von Emotion, Affekt und Fiktion ein. Dabei wird das Phänomen des emotionalen Weinens durch gesellschaftspolitische, popkulturelle oder lyrische Themen in den Fokus genommen.
Durch die Figuren Nachtfalter, Sadgirl und Fluss werden Konzepte und Phänomene wie die Inszenierung von Tränen, Schmerz, Tränen als Tabu, Tränen als Klischee, Weiße Tränen oder Tränen als Körperflüssigkeit näher betrachtet. Wir fragen: Wer vergießt Tränen wie und wo? Wann werden sie geweint? Wofür stehen sie? Und welche Absichten stecken hinter den 70-100 Litern Tränen, die ein Mensch im Leben vergießt?

This mothwas called Gorgone macarea and had a habit that seemed rather unusual for a creature onEarth. Gorgone macarea drank the tears of sleeping birds. For the moth, it was a reliablesource of nourishment in uncertain times. After all, even back then, the Amazon rainforestwas considered a so-called tipping element, capable of disrupting the global climatebalance. As Gorgone macarea’s habitat changed more and more, and the birds graduallydisappeared, the moth set out in search of other tears. Along the way, it heard that humansshed a kind of tear unlike any other creature on Earth: emotional tears. And so, the mothdecided to invite humans to share their tears with it.Since then, the moth and its two companions, Sadgirl and Fluss, have been touring from barto bar, drawing the audience into their universe for one night. She studied at the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design, the Bauhaus University Weimar, and as a guest at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. She has worked and presented her projects at venues such as TJG Dresden, Residenz Leipzig, Staatsschauspiel Dresden, GfzK Leipzig, 4BidGallery Amsterdam, and Staatstheater Karlsruhe.
