- Das Cape wurde von der Exkursion nach Marokko inspiriert, wo ich über die traditionellen Textilen der Amazigh gelernt habe. Kleidungsstücke wie der Burnous und der Handira Umhang haben mich dazu inspiriert eine Umhang zu gestalten, der meine Reise beinhaltet. Der Umhang kann auch als Decke genutzt werden.

- The cape was inspired by the excursion to Morocco where I learned about traditional Amazigh textiles. Garments like the burnous and the handira cape inspired me to create a cape that incorporates my journey. The cape can also be used as a blanket.

- Bei dem Design des Nackenkissens lag mein Fokus darauf, das Schlafen in der sitzenden Position komfortabler zu gestalten. Dafür habe ich ein zweites Kissen für den Rücken integriert und die Seitenteile des Nackenkissens so verlängert, dass diese zu Taschen werden. Das Nackenkissen umarmt so den ganzen Körper und gibt einem ein wohliges Gefühl während dem Reisen.
Das Muster basiert auf Anne Scribas Strecke von Phuket nach Bangkok in Thailand, welche ich genutzt habe um das Kissen in mehrere große Flächen zu unterteilen. Annes Geschichte zu dieser Reise kann in dem Booklet "Path Tiles - A collection of stories and patterns" nachgelesen werden.

- When designing the neck pillow, my focus was on making sleeping in a sitting position more comfortable. To achieve this, I integrated a second pillow for the back and extended the sides of the neck pillow so that they become pockets. The neck pillow hugs the whole body and gives you a feeling of cozyness while traveling.
The pattern is based on Anne Scriba's route from Phuket to Bangkok in Thailand, which I used to divide the cushion into several large surfaces. Anne's story about this journey can be read in the booklet “Path Tiles - A collection of stories and patterns”.

- Bei dem Design dieses Objekt war es mein Ziel eine Tasche zu gestalten, die gleichzeitig ein Kissen ist. Die Idee ist, dass man sein Kissen so nicht Platz verschwenderisch in einer Tasche verstauen muss, sondern das Kissen selbst als Stauraum nutzen kann.
Das Muster basiert auf Wieki Somers Route von Rotterdam nach Karlsruhe, welche sie regelmäßig bestreitet. Sie hat die GPS-Daten dieser Strecke genutzt um ein persönliches Muster auf der Path Tiles Website zu erstellen. Dieses habe ich dann in Form der Tasche realisiert.

- When designing this object, my aim was to create a bag that is also a cushion. The idea is that you don't have to waste space storing your cushion in a bag, but can use the cushion itself as storage space.
The pattern is based on Wieki Somer's route from Rotterdam to Karlsruhe, which she regularly takes. She used the GPS data from this route to create a personal pattern on the Path Tiles website. I then realized this in the form of the bag.

Ich habe einen Raum von 8*5 Metern konstruiert, umgeben von Skateboard-Soundeffekten unten und Projektion Animationen oben. Die Trajektorie des Skateboards schreitet kontinuierlich voran, dreht sich und scheitert letztendlich auf dem Gelände, ähnlich wie Sisyphos, der endlos den Felsen schiebt und in einem unendlichen Zyklus von Anstrengung und Scheitern gefangen ist.

In this piece, drawing upon the imagery of Sisyphus from Greek
mythology pushing the boulder, I explore the meaninglessness of life through the fusion of skateboarding. I constructed a space measuring 8*5 meters, enveloped in skateboard sound effects below and projection animations above. The skateboard's trajectory continually progresses, turns, and ultimately fails on the terrain, resembling Sisyphus endlessly pushing the boulder, caught in an infinite cycle of effort and failure.
The vibrant animated skateboard tracks convey tension and surreal visual expressions. The effort of skateboarding parallels the endless rolling of the boulder, prompting contemplation on the meaning of life. Spectators continually ponder the transience of life and the significance of effort in this setting, reflecting humanity's contradictory feelings towards existence. This scene is not just a visual delight but also serves as a spiritual enlightenment and reflection.

In this piece, drawing upon the imagery of Sisyphus from Greek
mythology pushing the boulder, I explore the meaninglessness of life through the fusion of skateboarding. I constructed a space measuring 8*5 meters, enveloped in skateboard sound effects below and projection animations above. The skateboard's trajectory continually progresses, turns, and ultimately fails on the terrain, resembling Sisyphus endlessly pushing the boulder, caught in an infinite cycle of effort and failure.
The vibrant animated skateboard tracks convey tension and surreal visual expressions. The effort of skateboarding parallels the endless rolling of the boulder, prompting contemplation on the meaning of life. Spectators continually ponder the transience of life and the significance of effort in this setting, reflecting humanity's contradictory feelings towards existence. This scene is not just a visual delight but also serves as a spiritual enlightenment and reflection.

- In diesem Stück erkunde ich die Sinnlosigkeit des Lebens durch die Verschmelzung von Skateboarding und greife dabei auf das Bildnis des Sisyphos aus der griechischen Mythologie zurück, das den Felsen schiebt. Ich habe einen Raum von 8*5 Metern konstruiert, umgeben von Skateboard-Soundeffekten unten und Projektion Animationen oben. Die Trajektorie des Skateboards schreitet kontinuierlich voran, dreht sich und scheitert letztendlich auf dem Gelände, ähnlich wie Sisyphos, der endlos den Felsen schiebt und in einem unendlichen Zyklus von Anstrengung und Scheitern gefangen ist.
Die lebendigen animierten Skateboard-Spuren vermitteln Spannung und surreale visuelle Ausdrücke. Die Anstrengung des Skateboardens
entspricht dem endlosen Rollen des Felsens und regt zur Reflexion über die Bedeutung des Lebens an. Zuschauer reflektieren in dieser Umgebung kontinuierlich über die Vergänglichkeit des Lebens und die Bedeutung von Anstrengung, was die widersprüchlichen Gefühle der Menschheit gegenüber dem Dasein widerspiegelt. Diese Szene ist nicht nur eine visuelle Freude, sondern dient auch als spirituelle Erleuchtung und Reflexion.
