| Extensive Description | - WWWE ist eine 40-minütige, performative Wrestlingshow im öffentlichen Raum. Im Mittelpunkt stehen zwei Frauen, deren Crew, eine Band* und eine Moderatorin, die sich gemeinsam mit dem Publikum im Wrestling ausprobieren und die gesellschaftliche Tabuisierung von wütenden Frauen im Ring verhandeln. Wie im Schaukampf üblich, sind die Handlungsabläufe teilweise improvisiert und werden mit Showelementen und Storylines angereichert. Angelehnt an das ProWrestling des WWE spielen Spontanität und Improvisation auch beim WWWE eine entscheidende Rolle: Die dargebotene Wrestlingshow wird durch verschiedene filmische Elemente narrativ unterlegt, während die Moderatorin auf die Stimmung und Forderungen des Publikums reagiert. Neben dokumentarischem Videomaterial werden gescriptete Handlungen gezeigt und somit Kontexte und Assoziationen hergestellt, die einerseits die Praxis des Wrestlings als performative Kulturtechnik verhandeln und andererseits die Rolle der wütenden Frau – sowohl im Rahmen der männlich dominierten, sexualisierten Geschichte des Wrestlings selbst, als auch im gesellschaftlichen Alltag allgemein – untersuchen. Die Zielgruppe der performativen Filminstallation sind sowohl zufällig vorbeikommende Bürger*innen, deren Alltag durch die Intervention im offenen Raum temporär unterbrochen wird, sowie Frauen und Mädchen, denen beigebracht wurde, Wut und Ungerechtigkeiten durch Zähneknirschen und Selbstkontrolle zu kompensieren.
STORY: Violet Sahara und Miss Ballshot Chanel kämpften bisher in erster Linie dafür, ausgeglichen zu sein: Sie besuchten Yoga-Kurse, übten sich in Meditation, betrieben regelmäßig Sport und nahmen sich jährlich gemeinsame Auszeiten zum Wandern und zur Entspannung. Den unliebsamen, physischen Folgen negativer Gefühle wurde mit Knirschschienen und Nackenmassagen entgegengewirkt. Freundlichkeit und Harmonie sollten nicht nur den beruflichen Erfolg sichern, sondern auch ihr soziales Leben unter Kontrolle halten –- wütend wollte keine sein. Denn wo eine Frau wütend wird, da schreit es nach Hysterie, Übertreibung, PMS, Beschämung und Ablehnung. Miss Ballshot Chanel hat die Schnauze voll davon, aufgrund ihrer immer guten Laune zu gemeinsamer Projektarbeit eingeladen zu werden und auch Violet Sahara will bei den scheinbar zufälligen Berührungen ihres Chefs nicht mehr süß lächeln. Es reicht! Für Beide muss sich was ändern. Zielsicher begeben sie sich in den Ring, um das Gefühl der aufsteigenden Wut herauszufordern, ihm Aufmerksamkeit zu schenken, es zu streicheln und zu verwöhnen. Violet Sahara und Miss Ballshot Chanel erheben die Wut der Frau zur neuen Leitkultur und gründen die WWWE. Dort rasten sie aus, werden laut, schlagen zu und befreien sich aus den Strukturen des gesellschaftlich-normativen Imperativs der ruhigen, ausgeglichenen, immer freundlichen, sozialkompetenten Frau. Denn Wut ist kein männliches Privileg und Kämpfen erst recht nicht.

| Extensive Description (en) | - WWWE is a 40-minute performative wrestling show in public space. The focus is on two women, their crew, a band* and a presenter who try their hand at wrestling together with the audience and negotiate the social taboo of angry women in the ring. As is usual in exhibition wrestling, the action sequences are partly improvised and are enriched with show elements and storylines. Based on the pro wrestling of the WWE, spontaneity and improvisation also play a decisive role in WWWE: the wrestling show presented is narratively underpinned by various filmic elements, while the presenter reacts to the mood and demands of the audience. In addition to documentary video material, scripted actions are shown, thus creating contexts and associations that negotiate the practice of wrestling as a performative cultural technique on the one hand and examine the role of the angry woman - both in the context of the male-dominated, sexualized history of wrestling itself and in everyday social life in general - on the other. The target group of the performative film installation are both random passers-by, whose everyday lives are temporarily interrupted by the intervention in the open space, as well as women and girls who have been taught to compensate for anger and injustice by gritting their teeth and exercising self-control.
STORY: Violet Sahara and Miss Ballshot Chanel used to fight to be balanced: they attended yoga classes, practiced meditation, exercised regularly and took time out together every year to hike and relax. The unpleasant physical consequences of negative feelings were counteracted with crunching splints and neck massages. Kindness and harmony were not only intended to ensure professional success, but also to keep their social lives under control - no one wanted to be angry. Because where a woman gets angry, it screams hysteria, exaggeration, PMS, shaming and rejection. Miss Ballshot Chanel is fed up with being invited to work on projects together because she's always in a good mood, and Violet Sahara no longer wants to smile sweetly at her boss's seemingly random touches. Enough is enough! Something has to change for both of them. They purposefully enter the ring to challenge the feeling of rising anger, give it attention, caress it and pamper it. Violet Sahara and Miss Ballshot Chanel elevate women's rage to the new dominant culture and found the WWWE. There they go berserk, get loud, strike out and free themselves from the structures of the socially normative imperative of the calm, balanced, always friendly, socially competent woman. Because anger is not a male privilege and fighting is certainly not.
