These three buildings in Croatia, Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina are examples of three different ways societies deal with the structural remnants of an armed conflict.
How are the new nation-states dealing with their heritage? What can these practices say about their collective culture of remembrance? How do the structures tell the legacy and building of new nation states, and how do architectural structure and social narrative influence each other?
