- Durch gezielte Faltungen entsteht eine bewegliche Oberfläche, die sich durch Auf- und Zuziehen verändert. Mit der Bewegung öffnen und schließen sich einzelne Bereiche und geben ein neues Muster frei, das erst durch die Veränderung der Oberfläche sichtbar wird.

- Through a series of folds, a flexible surface is created that changes as it opens and closes. With each movement, different areas unfold and reveal a new pattern that only becomes visible through the transformation of the surface.

- Das "Pattern Archive" dokumentiert die unterschiedlichen Muster, die während der ersten experimentellen Phase des Projekts entstanden sind. Ausgangspunkt waren zweidimensionale Muster, die durch Schneiden, Falten, Biegen, Schichten und Ineinanderstecken gezielt verändert wurden. Die daraus entstandenen Studien untersuchen unterschiedliche Möglichkeiten, eine statische Oberfläche zu öffnen, zu verformen und in eine räumliche Struktur zu überführen.

- The "Pattern Archive" documents the different patterns developed during the first experimental phase of the project. Starting from two-dimensional patterns, the surfaces were transformed through cutting, folding, bending, layering, and interlocking. The resulting studies explore different ways of opening, manipulating, and transforming a static surface into a spatial structure.

- Die Experimentreihe untersucht, wie die gezielte Verformung einer Oberfläche ihre Interaktion mit Licht verändern kann. Schneidegeplottete Kunststoffflächen wurden gefaltet und in unterschiedliche Winkel gebracht, sodass einzelne Elemente das einfallende Licht auf verschiedene Weise auffangen und reflektieren. Je nach Ausrichtung entstehen wechselnde Lichtreflexionen, die das Muster immer wieder neu erscheinen lassen.

Plotter-cut plastic surfaces were folded and positioned at different angles, allowing individual elements to catch and reflect incoming light in different ways. Depending on their orientation, shifting reflections emerge, continuously changing the appearance of the pattern.
