| Short biography | Sophie Charlotte Reißfelder ist 1996 in Heidelberg geboren und eine deutsche Kamerafrau, Regisseurin, Fotografin und Medienkünstlerin. Seit 2015 arbeitet sie freischaffend im Film- und Videobereich und hat von Oktober 2016 bis Herbst 2024 Medienkunst mit dem Schwerpunkt Film und Moving Images an der Hochschule für Gestaltung Karlsruhe studiert, welches sie mit dem Diplom abgeschlossen hat. 2020/21 studierte sie für ein Jahr intensiv Cinematography (Kamera) an der FAMU Prag, Tschechien und wirkte bei dem Festival Läufer „Chrysalis“ von Eydís Björnsdottir als Director of Photography, der 2023 für den Isländischen Academy Award in der Short Film Section nominiert wurde. Meist arbeitet sie mit analoger Fotografie und 16mm Film. Thematisch beschäftigt sie sich mit zwischenmenschlichen Momenten, dem Körper und Krankheiten. Hierbei legt sie sich in der Darstellung nicht auf ein Genre fest, so kann es fiktional, dokumentarisch, essayistisch oder auch installativ sein. |
