      • Die Arbeit Treptow, 2002 ist die älteste Arbeit in der Präsentation. Sie ist der Stellvertreter für den Beginn meiner fotografischen Tätigkeit. Die Auseinandersetzung mit Erlebnisparks steht in Zusammenhang mit dem Szenografie-Studium an der HfG.
        Der Gegensatz zwischen Natur und Künstlichkeit wird hierbei besonders deutlich. Das seiner ursprünglichen Bedeutung enthobene Fahrgeschäft mutiert zur funktionslosen Skulptur die sich quer durch das Bild zieht. Seiner ursprünglichen Bedeutung enthoben, erobert sich die Natur den von Menschen konstruierten Platz zurück. Die Lichtstimmung in diesem Bild oszilliert zwischen Melancholie und Absurdität.

      • The work Treptow, 2002 is the oldest work in the presentation. It represents the beginning of my photographic work. The exploration of adventure parks is connected to my scenography studies at the HfG.
        The contrast between nature and artificiality becomes particularly clear here. The ride, stripped of its original meaning, mutates into a functionless sculpture that runs right through the picture. Stripped of its original meaning, nature reclaims the space constructed by man. The lighting mood in this picture oscillates between melancholy and absurdity.
