THE STRANGE WOMAN – WINTER JOURNEY TO FLOSSENBÜRG is a documentary about a family of four generations in Flossenbürg, a village in the Upper Palatinate in Bavaria. The film shows in quiet observations the lives of the village residents and the coexistence of housewife and mother Kerstin and her daughter Lena. The past and dealing with it point to the future. The film tells the story of mania and depression, empathy and obedience, of marriage, loneliness and love.
